When you have an Indian palette like mine, the cook in me doesn’t hesitate to try spice up everything, Margaritas included!
Check out this recipe – a great summer Mango Margarita
For 4 servings
Wet the rim of glasses with a wedge of lime and coat with a Tajin mixture in the proportion
1 tsp chili powder : 1/4 tsp sea salt
Mix together
3 cups mango juice
3 small limes squeezed ( approx 1.5 ounces)
4 ounces Tequila
2 ounces triple sec or orange liqueur
1 dash hot sauce (optional)
Add
1-3 Tbsp agave nectar or maple syrup depending on sweetness of the mangoes if needed
Garnish with sliced Jalapeños for an additional kick of spice!
