It was so hot yesterday that I decided to substitute Iced Tea for Masala Chai at my Tea Party!
The Weatherman proved right for once and my garden party got rained out. But the parched garden needed the drink, more than we did to have Tea outside on a hot muggy day. I scrambled and moved all my arrangements indoors. But I got a few clicks in the cloudy sunlight of what might have been my Ice T corner, humidity et al!
Iced T my way
Brew Tea
1 Tea bag/ 2 tsp sugar in 3 oz hot water per serving for 3 minutes
Let brew cool to room temperature
Add 6 oz ice cold water and mix well
Top with a few ice cubes and a slice of lemon
Let sit for an hour before serving!
Sweeten extra as per taste if need be,
