without some delicious
coffee-flavoured loneliness?

A gloomy day with a book and Chai instead of my customary 4 pm Coffee. The Chai- pot had a delicous brew. But as they say, don’t judge a book by its cover. I bought Madras on my Mind, because of the title and it was quite disappointing 😒
Masla Chai
Boil 1.5 cups water on medium flame with
2 tsp Liptons Black Tea
2 pods crushed Cardamom
When the water comes to boil,
Add
1/2 cup 2% or whole milk
1/2 tsp grated ginger
Lower heat Simmer for 5 mts
Let sit for 5 minutes for flavors to develop
Add sugar to taste and enjoy hot !
Chicago has been inundated with rain for close to 10 days, so spent a busy afternoon shooting in my living under gloomy skies and lights. Minimal set up and editing.
