Pheni – deep fried semolina, on which a rich warm almond milk is poured just before eating. This softens the pheni and makes it almost like a Kheer. Served traditionally at weddings, this is a family favorite and often on the menu.
Elaborate to make from scratch I take the east way out to yield as delicious a result-
Pheni – store bought.
Almond milk
Mix 8 cups of milk with 12 tsp of MTR badam milk mix and 6 tsp if Almond powder. Bring to boil and simmer 5 ts to thicken
