Upside Down Pineapple Cake with cool whip (whipped cream)

Notes
1. A tad too sweet for my liking. Will reduce the brown sugar next time.
2. Butter for the bottom layer can be melted in the baking pan you are using. I used a glass pan and melted butter in it, placing it in the microwave.
3. Flip the cake upside down exactly 10 mts after removing it from the oven to prevent it sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Run your knife around the edges. Flip. Give the bottom of the pan a few whacks and wait for gravity to act, for a couple minutes.
4. Flip onto a plate or similar that can be microwaved*. The cake best tastes warm, served with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream 🙂
* Guess who did not and then had to microwave individual pieces before serving 蘿狼
