Railway Chutney is the term given to the chutney which is served in the railway stations and on the trains.
Extremely liquid compared to other thicker counterparts, it is generally poured in generous quantities on your tiffin!
This is made with very little coconut even though it is marketed as a Coconut Chutney. This is probably because in the heat of the Indian subcontinent it needed to have a shelf life of at least a day and coconut spoils relatively fast.
