Avial. A melange of vegetables, precisely chopped into thick matchstick size pieces, delicately cooked in a coocunt cumin paste. A delicacy reserved for special occasions.
There always is a tussle for first place between the Kerala and Tamil styles and I personally prefer the Kerala Style.
