Pepper Jeera Rasam with ground spices
Soak in hot water for 10 mts and grind to a paste
2 tbsp Thur Dal
1 tsp Peppercorns
1 tsp Jeera or Cumin Seeds
1 Byadgi Chilli
Few Curry 🍃 Leaves
Heat 2 tbsp Oil and sauté the paste for 2 to 3 mts
Add 1.5 cups water
1 cup Chopped Tomatoes 🍅
1/3 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Salt 🧂
1 tsp Tamaring pulp
Shut and simmer 5 to 7 mts till mixture is cooked.
Add 2 more cups Water
Curry leaves 🍃 Cube
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
Tadka Cube
Simmer 5 mts
Garnish with 2 tbsp Cilantro
Serve hot as a 🍲 soup
Equally delicious as Rasam Sadam
