Cabbage Stir fry
Tadka in 2 tbsp hot oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
Few Curry ๐ leaves
3 Green ๐ถ Chillis
Add 1 cup Sliced Onions
1 tsp Salt and fry till translucent
Add 4 cups sliced Cabbage
1 tbsp grated Ginger ๐ซ
Shut and cook for 5 mts stiring every minute
Most cabbages do not need water added during the cooking process.
They let go of water and aid the cooking process, and shutting it will produce the desired steam needed to cook it l.
If you notice your cabbage getting dry, add water tablespooned by tablespoon as needed otherwise will get very soggy.
When al dente’ ( nearly cooked)
Add 1 tsp Sambar Podi
1 tsp Oil
Stir well and saute for an additional 3 to 4 mts
Garnish with cilanto
Great as a side with rotis and also rice with Sambar or Rasam !
