Cauliflower  AuGratin

Cut 3 lbs (1.35kg ) Cauliflower
into medium sized florets

Place in a shallow dish
Add 1/2 cup water
Microwave 3 mts till softened
Adjust timing accourding to Microwave. Shouldn’t be soggy !

Melt 4 tbsp Butter on low heat
Sauté 3 tbsp Flour
1 tbsp Italian Spice
1 tbsp Garlic powder
Till well blended for 3 mts

Add 3 cups warm Milk
1 tsp Pepper
1/2 cup Cheese
Mix briskly without lumps forming
Simmer till sauce thickens
Cheese mostly melted

Adjust Salt. I used 1/2 tsp
Cheese sause will already have Salt and tou are going to add more Cheese to it
Add 1 tsp Chilli flakes
1/3 tsp Nutmeg
Mix well

Place Cauliflower in 8×8 baking dish
Add Sauce
Sprinkle 1/2  to 3/4 cup Cheese
1 tsp Chilli flakes

Bake at 380° F ( 185°C) for 15 mts
till Cheese melted and browned

Delicous Cauliflower AuGratin
Serve as is or wirh Garlic Bread.
