Roast on low heat
1 cup Thur Dal
1/2 cup Channa Dal
1/2 cup Broken Gram Dal till golden
Add 8 cloves of Garlic, chopped in slivers if you like to this while roasting
Switch off stove
Add
1 tsp Peppercorns
1 tbsp Curry leaves
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
3 red Chillis
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
3/4 tsp Salt
Toss for few minutes in the retained heat
Wait for mixture to cool
Grind and store in an airtight jar Delicious with hot rice and a spoon of Ghee!
