Rajma (Indian Style Kidney Beans)

Recipe notes –

  1. Instead of the melange of masala powders for Rajma I very often use 2 tbsp of Kitchen King masala and the chilli powder specified, which is more flavorful.
  2. After the Rajma cooks as per above recipe, I generally add 1 tsp Garam Masala and 1 tsp Kasuri Methi with half cup of water and slow cook it for 30 mts for additional flavor.
  3. Very often I use tinned Red Kidney Beans. In this case after sautéing the masla, I add water and beans and slow cook for half an hour and then follow step 2 above
