Cranberry Pickle

A bottle of tart and spicy Cranberry pickle  to celebrate International Hot and Spict food day

Recipe
  1.  Wash and dry 2 cups of cranberries.
2. Grind  4 tbsp mustard seeds to a coarse powder
  3. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a deep pan. Let splitter 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  4. Add cranberries.
Cook on low heat till cranberries.  pop and soften. Turn off heat.
5. Add immediately
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tp Asafoetida
1. 5 tsp salt
3 tsp Chilli powder
4 tbsp  mustard powder
Pinch of Fenugreek seeds
  6. Mix well and let it cool.
7. Transfer to a dry bottle and refrigerate.

Goes as a great side to most meals and also a spread in sandwiches and burgers for an extra kick !
