Savory French Toast in December ( Makes 2)
🥚In a bowl wide enough to accommodate a slice of bread, beat together
2 large eggs
1/2 Cup milk
🥚Add
2 tbsp Onion super finely chopped
1 tsp Green Chili super finely chopped
½ tsp Salt
1 tbsp Cilantro finely chopped
3 tbsp grated Colby Jack Cheese
🥚Dip a slice of bread bread till thoroughly soaked. Flip over till thoroughly soaked.
🥚On low medium heat, melt 1 tbsp butter in a pan. Place bread on it and cook.
Make sure the small pieces of onion n spices have adhered to the surface. Otherwise spoon some on. Flip over in a couple minutes and cook other side till both sides golden.
🥚Delicious eaten as is. Can also be served with a dash of Chipotle Aioli, Tomato Ketchup or Spicy Coriander Chutney
