Vatha Kuzhambu from Mix

Dilute 4 tbsp of Mix
in 2.5 cups of water
Stir to smooth paste without lumps

If you have readily available
Sauté
1/2 cup onion in 2 tbsp Oil ti golden

Add mixed slurry
1 tsp Salt

Bring to Boil
Simmer 5 to 7  mts

Vatha Kuzhambu will thicken on cooling


If you dont have onions,
Bring slurry to Boil
Simmer 5 to 7  mts
Add 2 tbsp oil while boiling

You can also substitute vegetables like Okra, Brinjal or Eggplant, or Drumstick instead od Onions.


Serve with  hot rice, vegetable and Apalam.
