Spicy Cauliflower

People don’t know how good cauliflower is, because they always have this image of cauliflower cheese – awful, sticky, creamy and rich.- Yotam Ottolenghi

A delicious quick Spicy Cauliflower Roast. No cheese in the equation! Goes well with rice and rotis or makes a great appetizer.

Recipe
🔪 Add
1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan and let splutter
1 tsp jeera
Few curry leaves
🔪 Add
3 heaped cups cauliflower cut into medium sized florets
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
Saute till cauliflower is cooked al dente’
🔪 Add 1 to 2 tbsp oil
1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
1 tsp Rasam Powder
Turn up the heat till high and toss for a few minutes till masalas are absorbed and the cauliflower gets a slightly charred effect
🔪Sprinkle with
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp Asafoetida

The same can be done in an Air Fryer.
Cook Cauliflower @ 350 for 8 minutes
Toss with spices mentioned above. Cook @380° for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle Pepper and Asafoetida.
Adjust timing to your Air Fryer. I use a Cosori 5.8 qt
